Hong Kong
Christopher Carter is a globetrotter. Born in Hong Kong, Carter spent most of his years growing up In Perth, Australia and migrated to UK for studies before finally returning to his home country to pursue a career cricket. He started his career as a wicket-keeper for his club Kowloon Cricket Club. His transformation to top level was quite rapid. Carter scored truckload of runs in pro cricket and that prompted the selectors to pick him for the Hong Kong A team. With veteran Jamie Atkinson reaching the fag end of his career, Carter was touted to be his successor.
Rejoicing the national call-up, he put his studies on hold and cricket took precedence. Making his first-class debut against UAE in the Intercontinental cup 2015, Carter failed to replicate his success which saw him fade away for sometime before getting roped in for the Asia Cup Qualifiers in 2018.
