Profile

Nicknamed as 'Mose', Sheyne has cricket in his genes. His uncle Hallam Moseley represented Barbados and Somerset in the 1970s. A left-hander, Moseley came up the age-group ranks in Barbados and won the under-19 regional tournament with the Barbados under-19 team.

A product of the CounterPoint Wanderers Club in Barbados, Sheyne played in the Suffolk and Essex League Division 1 Championship in 2015 and tallied more than 1000 runs in the season at an average of more than 50.

He got to play in the Elite Division in 2015 and good performances there meant he got to debut for Barbados in 2017. In his debut season, he gave a good account of himself and finished the season on a high with a 79 and 100* against Jamaica in the last league game.
