Pradeep Jayaprakashdaran is a Sri Lankan right-arm medium pacer who played only one ODI in 2005 against India. Pradeep made first-class debut in 2003 for Tamil Union Cricket and Athletic Club. He has also played for the Badureliya Sports Club and Sri Lanka A teams. Educated at the prestigious Royal College Colombo, he played in the Royal–Thomian and went on to play club level for the Tamil Union Cricket and Athletic Club.

He has nearly 800 runs and over 70 wickets in first-class cricket so far. He made his debut for Sri Lanka in the 4th ODI of the Indian Oil Cup against India. He took one wicket but did not get a chance to bat. Although, Sri Lanka never included him in the national squad after that, he continues to play first-class and List A cricket.
