West Indies
Born on September 23, 1983, Garey Earl Mathurin is a left arm spinner and an useful lower order batsman from Windward Islands. He had a good first class season in 2011 and capped it with a ten wicket haul against England Lions followed by 5 more wickets against Leeward Islands.
He was a late call-up to the national squad for the 2-match T20 series against England in place of an injured Ashley Nurse and made an immediate impact with figures of 3/9 as West Indies dismissed England for 88 to win the match by 25 runs.
However, he was dropped soon after, getting banished to the domestic circuit. Now, with Sunil Narine and Samuel Badree firmly establishing themselves in the national team, Mathurin's chances of a re-entry appears bleak.
