SKY gets the trophy and that's another successful series for India. They will be one of the favorites for the T20 World Cup at home next year. Meanwhile Australia are another formidable outfit too. It will be interesting to see how these two fare in that mega tournament. That's it for now. If you want more cricket - hop tabs to follow Pakistan v South Africa. For now it's bye bye.

Suryakumar Yadav | India captain: Wanted the game to be completed at Canberra but that's not in our control. The way everyone chipped in and the way we came back from 0-1 down, credit to all the boys. Was a good series with bat, ball and in the field as well. Both fast bowlers and spinners know their job very well. Bumrah-Arshdeep is a lethal combination. And then Axar, Varun coming in doing what they do best. And Washi coming in handy in the last game. They've played a lot of T20 cricket now, they bring a lot to the table and are backing themselves. Good headache to have - lots of players have been doing really well. Playing three strong teams - Australia, SA and NZ - going to be a great buildup for the World Cup. I saw recently what happened with the women's team winning the World Cup in India, having an unbelievable support (from the crowd). When you're playing at home, of course there's a lot of pressure. But at the same time a lot of excitement and responsibility. When you're playing in your backyard, there will be a lot of support from everyone wherever we play in India. Going to be a good challenge, exciting tournament, but it's still far away. Two important series to go. Need to see a lot of things during that. I'm sure it will be an exciting World Cup ahead.

Mitchell Marsh | Australia captain: Can't remember the last time we played and had so many rain interruptions. All in all a great series. India obviously won the games when it mattered, congratulations to them. There's a lot of learnings and positives to take forward. The adaptability and flexibility in our group and the squad we're trying to build in a World Cup year has been amazing. Guys have come in, done really well, played their roles, that's all we can ask for. Always moving parts in international cricket, especially with an Ashes coming up, but overall great attitude. Our squad, at full strength, is a pretty settled team. The Big Bash is there for the guys to enjoy and hopefully the Scorchers win. Good question (who will captain in the T20 World Cup - him or Pat). I think I'll be there.

Abhishek Sharma | Player of the Series: I've been waiting for this tournament. When I got to know we're going to Australia for T20Is, I was very excited. Have seen throughout my career that Australia is very batting friendly. Feel that we could've got better totals in between. The way he (Hazlewood) was bowling, it was beneficial for any team. I've said before that I always enjoy the battle between batters and bowlers. He's a world-class bowler. If you want to play good cricket and do well in the future, you have to face world-class bowlers. I was practicing for these kind of bowlers only because that's how you're going to do well for your team. Special mention to captain and coach, they've given me this responsibility to just go and express myself. I feel as a batter, when you're scoring 20s and 30s, it's not easy for you as well because you know you can go longer. But the clarity they've given me to set the momentum for the team, that's what I've been practicing in the nets and the off-season as well. It's one of the biggest tournaments (the T20 World Cup at home next year). It's my dream come true moment if I'll be playing the World Cup. As a kid I've always dreamt about this - winning the World Cup and winning matches for my country. Will make sure I'm ready for that tournament.

8:56pm local, 4:26pm IST: And the rain has won. Game abandoned. India win the series 2-1. It is always tough once the rain comes in Brisbane. And today there was lightning as well. Once it settled in, there was no way out and that caused another no result - the 2nd one of the series. In the three games that were possible, Australia won the first, before India stormed back to win the next two. Today's decider was set up nicely but rain ended that. India also keep their unbeaten record intact in Australia in T20I series. Stay tuned for the post-match stuff...

8:37pm local, 4:07pm IST: This game looks done. Just waiting for official confirmation. Hang tight.

8:10pm local, 3:40pm IST: Raining is the latest. Frustrating but that's about it for the moment.

7.40pm local, 3.10pm IST: There's a mexican wave going around the ground. A few minutes ago, the on-air commentators said that the rain had stopped but it started raining again soon after.

7.20pm local, 2.50pm IST: Heavy rain is blowing across the Gabba while the spectators wait patiently in their seats. Only the square is covered because the drainage is brilliant here.

7pm local, 2.30pm IST: Can see that it's raining now...

6.46pm local. 2.16pm IST: The big screen is saying that there is some "severe weather" around and that it is "unsafe to remain in open areas". From live pictures coming in, looks like the spectators are being moved from the lower stands as well. No rain as of yet. Official word is that play has been stopped due to lightning.

6.36pm local, 2.06pm IST: Players are walking off the field while groundstaff bring in the covers. It's not raining at the moment. Maybe there was some lightning? Not sure but it looks like they're expecting some rain. The square has been covered.

Bartlett to Abhishek Sharma, 2 runs, short at the body, rushes Abhishek on the pull and he mistimes it in the air. Gets enough bat to clear midwicket though

4.4

Bartlett to Gill, 1 run, back of a length on off, Gill punches from the crease in front of extra cover

4.3

Bartlett to Gill, no run, little too ambitious this time! Cutting in off a good length, Gill looks to pull but the length isn't short enough. The bounce at the Gabba saves him as it goes over the stumps
