The Windies lost the ODI series 2-1 but they showed great character and mettle to bounce back in style and whitewashed Bangladesh 3-0 in the T20I series. This series win will give them a lot of confidence as the T20 World Cup which will be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka is just three months' away and the conditions there will be somewhat similar. We hope you enjoyed our coverage. Until next time, goodbye and cheers!

Here's the glory moment! Roston Chase and Shai Hope have been presented the trophy. They now pose for photographs with their teammates

Roston Chase | Player of the Match: He (Auguste) is a very impressive player, I have played with him in the CPL earlier and in this year. He was striking it really well and it was good to see that. We want to be clinical, we spoke about our fielding in the team meeting earlier, these things happen but we were happythat we were able to restrict them to 151. This wickets in the series were hard to start on but became easier to bat on later, I felt this wicket was the best of the lot, the ball came on nicely. We lost the ODI series 2-1 but we came back well and the boys performed really well and that helped us to win this series.

Romario Shepherd | Player of the Series: No, I didn't know until they told me that I took a hat-trick and then I realized I got a hat-trick. You don't want to give a team momentum going into the next stage of the game and I bowled well at the last stage. The way they batted was fantastic, captain Roston took control and the young Auguste batted really well, the future looks good.

Litton Das | Bangladesh captain: I think sometimes you can't control somethings. When they batted, there was dew. They were lucky to bat second, you can't control and judge before the game. Tamim batted really well, I thought it was a decent total on this surface. When you drop a couple of catches, it becomes hard. In the whole series, they (West Indies) batted and bowled well. Before the series we wanted a tough time and they gave us a tough time. We will come back strongly and give our best going ahead.

21:26 Local Time, 15:26 GMT, 20:56 IST: A terrific run-chase from the West Indies tonight has enabled them to whitewash Bangladesh. Tanzid Hasan struck a fantastic 62-ball 89 but apart from him, the other batters largely struggled. Only a couple of Bangladeshi batters getting into double-digits tells you the story. WI bowled well with Shepherd's hat-trick emerging as the standout event. In response, the visitors were struggling a bit at 52/3. The hosts had some hope at that time but the duo of Chase and Auguste nipped that in the bud. The duo mixed caution with aggression to perfection and ensured that their side always stayed ahead of the 8-ball. Auguste in particular played some eye-catchy strokes and brought up his maiden T20I fifty off just 24 balls. Chase played the perfect foil to him and raised a fifty of his own. Rishad got two wickets in three balls at the fag end but the game was done by then. The Windies eventually cruised to the finish line with 19 balls to spare. Bangladesh dropped a few catches and their ground fielding was also sloppy on a number of occasions and that didn't help them. Stick around for the presentations...
