Hope: We keep putting ourselves in a position to win. Batters at the top need to step up including myself. We did put pressure on the NZ team after the 30-over mark. Chase was very economical. He played his part. He made it easier for us. Credit to him and all the other bowlers for chipping in. Just find ways to get runs.
Mitchell: Special ground for me. Lot of hardwork goes behind it. Special one for sure. Was a tricky surface. Not a fluent way to go about your one day innings. Little bit of a niggle. Will wake up and see how it goes. Was wondering around in the change room. Good job by the boys to get the job done.
The over-rate was something also that both teams would want to look at. They were appalling in that aspect.

Windies came very close but started too slowly and that I guess has come back to haunt them. Rutherford, Shepherd and Justin Greaves had too much to do in the end as the NZ bowlers used the short balls very judiciously. The short balls into the deck were tough to put away and that aided the hosts. Earlier, a hundred from Mitchell helped NZ to get to 269. The pitch had something in it for the pacers and that's why even 269 looked defendable. But the dropped catches were astounding. Plenty of catches went down in both the innings. And both teams would want to look back at it and may be come up with a quick fix.
