At one moment, the visitors might also have thought about chasing down 531 but Roach was given a few lives and those nervy moments led them to adopt a cautious approach since then. They changed their approach completely after tea and both Greaves and Roach blunted it out. Greaves scored his maiden Test double century at the fag end to bring himsef immense joy. He truly deserved it as he battled it out for more than 4 and a half sessions and bailed his side out of trouble. NZ were depleted due to the abscence of Henry and Smith (both got injured) and that took a toll on them. A couple of decisions also didn't go their way but having said all that, the Windies were superior in the fourth innings and that enabled them to achive the unthinkable. Stick around for the presentations...

18:20 Local Time, 05:20 GMT, 10:50 IST: It has been absolute marathon of a knock from Justin Greaves - the hero of the moment! Kudos to Roach as well - the lower-order batter showed that being resilient and having a good head on the shoulders can do world of good. These two batted out more than two sessions together to save the match for their side. This draw is as good as a win for the Windies considering that the odds were completely against them. Once the visitors had lost four wickets within the second session of Day 4, the hopes were bleak. But, the mammoth 196-run stand between Shai Hope and Greaves gave them the belief. Hope scored a century and he was looking in good shape today morning as well but a lapse in concentration costed him his wicket. Then, Imlach also departed in quick succession but Greaves was solid as a rock at one end. Roach came out swinging initially and there were a flurry of boundaries scored after lunch today.
