RCB's floundering campaign ends in heartbreak here in Lucknow. They started the tournament well with back-to-back wins in Vadodara, but things started going horribly wrong in their home leg as they lost all four matches at Chinnaswamy. It was a must-win match today against UP Warriorz who were already out of the race, and they came up against a rampaging Georgia Voll who was too hot to handle. So the top three have been confirmed, but we still have a couple of league matches to go.

Voll | POTM: It's been really cool (WPL experience?). Getting here a week ago, been great to know all the girls. Great experience to help our team put up good totals. Probably think back where you could've found the extra run (missing out on a hundred). Overall pretty happy. It was a really good wicket so we had to get above that 200.

Deepti | UPW captain: We just wanted to be on our toes because you never know with T20s. Total team effort today. I was backing myself with my stock balls and variations. Sometimes it clicks, sometimes it doesn't. We have been getting good starts but middle order hasn't clicked. Today everyone showed their character. When you win, you see everything in a positive light. Obviously disappointed that we haven't qualified. Hopefully we'll do better next year.

Smriti Mandhana | RCBW captain: I think they batted really positively from the first ball and sometimes in the last game of the season they come out in a different mood, that's what happened with UP today. But we pulled off quite well in the last 3-4 overs. Credit to Voll for the way she batted was brilliant. The way we started we thought it was going to be a good season but in the last 5 games we could not live up to the expectations which we had from ourselves. We played some good cricket in patches, we could not live up to some moments and we lost a lot of moments in the match. Definitely a lot to take back from this season. It was big to lose out the top three wicket takers of last season for us, losing them post auctions was huge but the replacements were really good, the way we started the tournament I thought we would be able to take the momentum. Lots of positives; Richa the way she batted today and really happy with Sneh Rana, came in as replacement and to do that was terrific to watch.

23:00 Local Time, 17:30 GMT, 23:00 IST: Heartbreak for RCB who crash out of the qualification race! They came out second best in this incredible run-fest we witnessed in Lucknow today. UPW racked up the highest-ever total in WPL on the back of a blistering 99* from Georgia Voll. And RCB only fell 12 short of the target. They needed a miracle and Richa Ghosh and Sneh Rana almost delivered the same with their incredible hitting. It wasn't to be though as UP Warriorz found a way to get over the line, just as they had done in the nailbiter at Chinnaswamy against the same opposition.

Georgia Voll to Kim Garth, out Renuka Singh Run Out!! Renuka has been run out and it's all over for RCB! Fired into the blockhole outside off, driven nicely but there's a diving stop at cover-point to cut off a possible boundary. The ball is parried towards Deepti at cover and Renuka has charged out for a single. It's too late by the time she turns back as the throw comes in back to Voll who breaks the stumps. Renuka Singh run out (Deepti Sharma/Georgia Voll) 1(1)

Deepti Sharma to Sneh Rana, out Caught by Poonam Khemnar!! Another fierce strike but straight to the fielder this time! OH that's terribly unlucky for Sneh Rana! Darted in at the stumps, back of a length, Rana swats it across the line, goes like a rocket but Khemnar doesn't have to move at deep midwicket. Deepti Sharma to Sneh Rana, SIX, what are we witnessing here! Out of nowhere the game seems to have turned! Rana steps out again, gets a full toss as Deepti misses her length and whacks it over the midwicket boundary. Unbelievable knock from Rana with RCB's season hanging in the balance
