Amelia Kerr: WPL is awesome for the women's game and Indian cricket. The catch had to be a bit of work to get there. Nice to be able to contribute. Pretty special (year). Been a good year for me. I am just stoked. I get to share with some of the great people. That's what special about this team

Kamalini: It was a little nervous (out in the middle) but I enjoyed the batting. My family would have enjoyed as well. That was my first six in WPL. All of them are tigers in the field. At the WPL I learnt not just skill wise, but about the mental aspect as well.

Amanjot: Crowd expects more when you've won it before. On top of that we were playing at home. So the pressure is there. But we are made for the big occasion. Our team meetings are simple. They had won on both previous occasions, but today was a new day. Everytime luck won't go in their favour.

Sanskriti: The way we started with the bat, we were hoping that someone clicks. Once we got a score on the board, I understood we'll pull it off somehow because we had faith in our strength. I've been playing for 10 years, whatever the platform. It wasn't like I was playing for the first time. This is my fourth trophy in three years.

Nita Ambani: Sitting in the dugout my heart was just beating... but I had full confidence in my girls. Unstoppable! They fought till the last ball. Nat has been outstanding all season and those three wickets she took were fantastic. And that batting by Harman the captain, oh my god... If you see our dugout there was never a quiet moment, they were clapping and cheering and I think that kept them going. Two titles in three years. Why just my girls, you give any girl child the support and empower them, look what they can achieve.. Proud owner of Mumbai Indians today. As a franchise we are trying to empower little girls through sport. Both education and sport go hand in hand and it is important parents allow the girls to play.

The Mumbai team now doing a lap of honor of the Brabourne. Lots of happy faces understandably. Lanning still can sport a smile. This is one tournament she has not won during her illustrious playing career. And this continues to elude her. To know that she has won everything else in her career!

23:32 Local Time, 18:02 GMT, 23:32 IST: A fantastic final and once again Mumbai hold their nerve on the big night. One has to feel sorry for Lanning and her team. They have finished top in all three editions of the WPL so far and everytime they have lost the final after getting a direct entry there. Is that a tear or two I spotted from Kapp as she shakes hands. Yes she is crying. She is being consoled by her Delhi colleagues. She has been on the losing end of finals both for her country and for the club as well. And the streak continues. Coming to the chase, Delhi needed their openers to come good but both fell cheaply to Nat Sciver-Brunt and Ismail. The Aussies - Jonassen and Sutherland too fell cheaply and Delhi were in trouble then. But Jemimah who has not had a great tournament with the bat strung a stand with Kapp before Kerr took a very good return catch to send back the former. Kapp then took the aggressive route and with Niki Prasad for support got it closer. But Nat Sciver-Brunt who has had a fantastic tournament swung the game decisively with Kapp and Pandey's wickets off successive balls in the 18th over. Niki Prasad kept fighting but 14 was too far a bridge for Delhi to cross as Mumbai emerged victorious for the 2nd time in 3 seasons. We will get you all the post-match stuff, including the flash interviews and everything that we can spot. Stay tuned...

19.6

Nat Sciver-Brunt to Niki Prasad, 1 run, Mumbai have won the WPL again. Delhi suffer the unfortunate fate of losing three WPL finals in a row. Elation for one side. Heartbreak for the other. It's a slower-ball off-cutter on a good length just outside off, Niki Prasad pulls and Ismail at long-on goes to her right and begins to celebrate even before she releases the ball, then she does release the ball, at the striker's end the stumps are pulled out by the Mumbai players in celebration even before the throw comes in. Kaur is gesturing everyone to be calm and then she looks heavenwards with folded hands and says a prayer or two. Some of the Delhi players are distraught. Nita Ambani the owner of Mumbai Indians walks out to congratulate her team

10 off 1. A pat on the shoulder from Kaur to Nat Sciver-Brunt.

19.5

Nat Sciver-Brunt to Nallapureddy Charani, 1 run, Mumbai are almost there. It's a slower-ball down leg, angling in, Nallapureddy Charani heaves to deep backward square-leg and it's just one

11 off 2. Nat Sciver-Brunt is calm as she is smiling. Even draws a smile from Kaur.

19.4

Nat Sciver-Brunt to Niki Prasad, 1 run, slower-ball off-cutter on a length on off, Niki Prasad pulls but no timing and deep mid-wicket is there, just a single

12 off 3, Kaur having a chat with Nat Sciver-Brunt. The field remains the same. Three back on the leg-side fence.

19.3

Nat Sciver-Brunt to Niki Prasad, no run, a precious dot. A beautiful delivery, a back of the hand slower-ball outside off, cuts away like a leg-break as Niki Prasad gives the charge and misses the loft, rolls to Yastika

12 off 4

19.2

Nat Sciver-Brunt to Nallapureddy Charani, 1 run, full on middle, Nallapureddy Charani gets forward to drive to long-on and she has done her job, got Niki Prasad back on strike

Nallapureddy Charani pulls out and Nat Sciver-Brunt just smiles. Not sure why the batter pulled out there.

Niki Prasad has a word with Nallapureddy Charani. Nat Sciver-Brunt from round the wicket.

19.1

Nat Sciver-Brunt to Niki Prasad, 1 run, a slower-ball off-cutter full around off, Niki Prasad sweeps and times it well, but on the bounce to deep mid-wicket and it's just one

14 off the last over and Sciver-Brunt it will be. Tense faces all around. The off-side field is up. Fine-leg in too.
