India open Asia Cup campaign with emphatic win as Thailand collapse for 65

Kranti Gaud provides late momentum

With India suddenly in danger of being restricted to a modest score, Kranti Gaud produced some valuable late hitting. She remained unbeaten on 15 from eight deliveries, including a boundary and a six.

Her contribution helped India add 22 runs during the final two overs and pushed the total to 159 for 9 after the full 20 overs.
