Mayank Agarwal joins Durham for final four County Championship games

Mayank Agarwal is set to return to County Championship cricket after agreeing to a short-term deal with Durham for the closing phase of the 2026 season. Agarwal's arrival gives Durham an experienced top-order option at an important stage of their campaign. Agarwal has represented India in 21 Tests and five ODIs. His Test career produced four centuries, including a memorable 243 against Bangladesh in Indore in 2019.

He has not played for India for more than four years, but he has continued to remain active in domestic cricket for Karnataka. His continued involvement in first-class cricket has allowed him to maintain his red-ball experience despite being away from the international setup.
