Profile Summary
A top-order batsman from Zimbabwe, Brian Chari made his international debut in the Test series against Bangladesh in Novemeber 2014. Drafted into the team as an opener, Chari failed to produce anything substantial, scoring 25, 4, 0 and 0 in his first two Tests.
He only made his ODI debut against Pakistani in October 2015. He made 16 in his first ODI innings as Zimbabwe were bowled out for 128. Chari, who played the game as an opener, was pushed down to number three for the remaining two games of the series.
An off-spinner who occasionally bowls as well, Chari plays his domestic cricket for Matabeleland Tuskers. He made his first-class debut against Southern Rocks in October 2011.
