Profile Summary
Even before making his first-class debut, Suchith was part of the Indian Premier League, thanks to Mumbai Indians's scouting team which roped the youngster for the 2015 season after spotting his talent in the Karnataka Premier League. Suchit grabbed 10 wickets in 13 matches and proved to the lucky charm for Mumbai as they lifted their maiden IPL title. From thereon, his career graph saw an exponential rise. Suchith - who made his FC debut for Karnataka against the touring Bangladesh A side. The left-arm spinner picked up six wickets in the second innings and spun his team to victory.
With K Gowtham and Shreyas Gopal taking over the spinners' role team, Suchith was mostly benched and was in and out of the team. But he contributed to the team whenever he got an opportunity. He also displayed his batting might in the Karnataka Premier League, slamming the fastest fifty in the tournament in 2016. With Gowtham going off for India A duties, Suchith has managed to retain his place in the Karnataka team in the 2018 season of Ranji Trophy.
