Profile Summary
A right-arm medium-fast bowler, who could bat a bit lower down the order, Paul Hithcock, played 14 ODIs and a lone T20I for New Zealand before fading away. After making sporadic appearances in 2002 and 2003, Hitchcock was totally ignored by the selectors. Just when his international career appeared done and dusted, he got a recall in the 2008/09 season but it lasted just a one game.
He had also plied his trade for Auckland in the domestic circuit, where he enhanced his reputation as a limited-overs specialist.
