Profile Summary
Tall and strong at a young age, the basic physical attributes of a fast bowler are all there for Liam Hatcher. Born in Liverpool, New South Wales, Liam made his list A debut playing for Cricket Australia XI in 2015-16 season in the Matador One-Day Cup. A few weeks later he also got a ticket for first-class cricket against the touring Kiwis in early 2016.
He was under various programmes by the NSW Blues to ensure he nurtured into a fast bowling candidate for the state side. He also traveled to England with the Australia under-19 side in 2016 for a limited overs tri-series tourney. He was roped in by Sydney Thunder in BBL 06 but wouldn't make his BBL debut till 2020/21 when he played for the Melbourne Stars. By the 2023/24 season, Hatcher was back with the Sydney Thunder.
