Profile Summary
The Hawke's Bay born right-hand batsman and right-arm medium pacer is more known for the former. Leopard came through Central Districts age group cricket, after turning out for Under 17 and Under 19, he made his first class debut as a 19-year-old in 2016.
However, that turned out to be his only four-day game that season. He was then picked for the 2017 Super Smash and played some handy innings, including a 52 against Otago. Those performances got him a ticket to the List A side and he played a couple of games towards the end of the season.
Paying a Plunket Shield match after almost two years, Leopard celebrated his comeback by registering his maiden first-class fifty against Canterburry - batting at No. 8. With age on his side, Leopard has ample time to make a mark for himself at Central Districts and probably New Zealand.
