Profile Summary
Another of those products of the Sydney Grade competitions, Ryan had a fantastic amateur season on 2015-16 and that paved the way for higher opportunities.
He was selected to play for New South Wales Blues in Matador BBQs One Day Cup at the start of the season before being dropped as the Australian internationals were available for selection in 2015-16.
He did get a chance to play for the Cricket Australia XI in the 2016-17 season and made it count by finishing as the seventh leading run-getter of the season which also included a ton on debut. He piled up 293 runs in 6 games at an average of 48.83. He is a part of the Sydney Thunder squad for BBL 07 having been part of an unsuccessful campaign in BBL 06 as well. Ryan played 7 games and scored only 101 runs with one fifty and an abominable average to go with it.
