Profile Summary
Rajeshwari Gayakwad is a left-arm spinner who has been in and out of the Indian team for the past decade or so. Hailing from Bijapur, Gayakwad started playing for the Karnataka state team and was soon picked by India in 2014.
She was part of the Indian World Cup squad in 2017 where they reached the final. Gayakwad was picked for the 2020 T20 World Cup as well, and then the 2022 Commonwealth Games where India won the silver. She won the gold at the Asian Games in 2023 as well. Gayakwad has been playing for the UP Warriorz in the Women’s Premier League since 2023.
