Profile Summary
21-year old off-break bowler, born in Gujarat, Aniket Parikh made his First-class debut playing for Auckland against Central Districts in February 2017. However, as it wasn't an exciting debut for the spinner, he had to wait for a considerable period of time for his second chance. After a period of 13 months, Parikh played his second First-class match but unfortunately due to rain and the pitch unsuitable for playing, the youngster didn't really get an opportunity to display his skills, consequently the match ended in a draw.
Parikh, a regular member of Grafton United Cricket Club has also represented the New Zealand under-19 team in the past, but is yet to deliver at the next level. He's played only a couple of first-class games and a lone List-A match so far. As he's only 21, there's still a lot time left in his cricketing career. If he works on his skills, he can possibly be a regular member of Auckland in upcoming days.
