Profile Summary
Aaron Beard was an unknown commodity when he grabbed new red Dukes on his debut against Sri Lanka in 2016. But it didn't take him long to make an impression in first-class cricket as he dismissed Sri Lankan opener Kausal Silva on the fourth delivery of his career. And then in his second over, he got the better of highly-rated Karunaratne to start his itinerary as a county cricketer on a terrific note.
Aaron is a product of Essex cricket academy and he has been with the county since he was nine. His journey hasn't been as hunky-dory as his debut and he has failed to cement his place in the playing eleven. Since that splendid debut match, he has represented Essex in eight more matches. Aaron would hope to become a permanent fixture in the Essex first eleven.
