Hailing from Lahore, Pakistan, Rameez Shahzad is an aggressive middle order batsman who made his debut for UAE in 2016. Since his debut, Shahzad has only got better when it comes to his batting statistics. From an average of 24 in 2016, Shahzad improved it to 34 in 2017. And it shot up drastically in 2018 on the back of two astonishing centuries; one against Scotland and the other one against Windies.
Being well built in stature, Shahzad has the power to hit big sixes and his ODI average of 50-plus has made him one of the mainstays in the present UAE batting line-up. Under the leadership of Rohan Mustafa, Shahzad's game has only blossomed and his numbers are a proof of that.
