Profile Summary
A robust right-arm seamer by trade, Vikum Sanjaya was marked out as someone to look for in the future by his domestic coaches from a very young age. After making his First-Class debut at the age of 20, he never really soared up to his potential with pretty average returns in the domestic circuit for the first few years. It all changed with his spell of 7/102 for Burgher Recreation Club in the 2016 season, where he particularly impressed with his ability to shape the ball away from right-handers causing plenty of problems.
It earned him a spot in the national team for the tour to South Africa. Though his career is still in the nascent stages, he is a talent to watch out for in the future.
