Profile Summary

A product of natural talent and elegance, Priyam Garg is an upcoming star from Uttar Pradesh. His run-making spree at the U-14s and U-16s brought him into the reckoning of the Indian U-19 team in 2018. He also came very close to making it to the World Cup squad but unfortunately, a poor run before the mega event diminished his hopes. But that didn't deter the youngster, who went back to his routine of scoring runs and got picked for the Ranji Trophy. He made heads roll by plundering a century on debut against Goa and since then, he hasn't looked back. Garg also captained India U-19 and U-23 teams.

In August 2019, the UP lad was included in the India Green squad for the Duleep Trophy. In 11 FC matches, Priyam Garg has notched up 814 runs at an average of 67.83. He has also achieved a rare feat of scoring 2 double tons in U-16s, U-19s and Ranji Trophy so far. “He (Garg) is way beyond his years,” is what Uttar Pradesh captain Akshdeep Nath had to say about the youngster to a newspaper.
