Having introduced to cricket by her father, Charlotte Ellen Dean is an English cricketer who plays for Hampshire domestically. She is a right-handed batter and a right-arm offbreak bowler. Dean made her debut for England in 2021. She was inducted into the England team on the back of fine performances for Southern Vipers and London Spirit in The Hundred competition. Dean took 6 wickets for the Spirit and then at the end of the 2021 season, signed a professional contract with Southern Vipers.
Dean made her Test debut against Australia in January 2022 and got Beth Mooney as her maiden wicket.
