Profile Summary
Australia has produced a flurry of leg-spinners in the past few years and Daniel Falins is one of them. He made his first-class debut against England at Adelaide before the 2017-18 Ashes. Falins picked up two wickets in his first match, including an important one of England skipper, Joe Root. Falins had to wait for a year to get his opportunity for New South Wales and he finally turned up for NSW against Victoria in the 2018-19 domestic season.
Falins hasn't done anything out of the ordinary so far in his career. But wrist spinners are a hot property in Big Bash and Melbourne Stars gave him a contract for the 2018-19 season. He has played a couple of matches for Stars but is yet to pick up a wicket.
