Profile Summary
At the age of 16, Aryan Juyal grabbed the headlines when he became the top-scorer of the Vinoo Mankad Trophy (One-Day Limited Overs Zonal League) by scoring 401 runs in 5 innings at an average of 133.67 which comprised 2 hundreds and 3 fifties. On the back of those performances, he was selected for the 2018 Under-19 World Cup squad which was won by India.
A technically solid top-order batter, who can also keep wickets, Juyal recorded his maiden first-class ton in just his second Ranji outing in 2019. It was during the 2023-24 season when he cemented his place in the Uttar Pradesh side. Returning from an ankle injury, he became the leading run-getter for his state by amassing 577 runs at an average of 64.11, which included a double century as well. After missing the inaugural season of the UP T20 League, Juyal smashed a century - 104 off 54 balls - in the second edition.
In Rinku Singh’s absence, Juyal was named as UP’s captain for the 2024-25 season and he once again topped the batting charts for his state by scoring 714 runs at an average of 79.33, which included 4 hundreds and a fifty. The highly rated wicketkeeper-batter was bought by Lucknow Super Giants in the 2025 IPL auctions for INR 30 lakh.
