Profile Summary
To impress the likes of Meg Lanning as a teenager is no mean feat and yet, that’s what Joshitha VJ did after being roped in as a net bowler for the Delhi Capitals. Primarily an outswing bowler with a clean action, Joshitha is from Wayanad, Kerala. She was already creating waves for Kerala’s senior side before being called up to India’s Under-19 side for the 2024/25 Women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup. She played all six of India’s games, including the final which India won, and picked up 6 wickets. She was bought by RCB for the 2025 edition of the WPL and played four games without picking up a wicket.
