Profile Summary
Breaking a record held by AB de Villiers could be considered a feat in itself and breaking the record for the fastest List-A hundred, getting there in just 29 balls, thrust a young Jake Fraser-McGurk into the limelight. Striking an astounding 13 sixes in his knock playing for South Australia against Tasmania in the Marsh Cup, Fraser-McGurk not only scored the fastest List-A hundred but also broke Chris Gayle's record of a 30-ball T20 hundred to claim the record of registering the fastest hundred in professional cricket.
As a youngster, Fraser-McGurk started off his career playing for Victoria and made his first-class debut in the 2019/20 season. His List-A debut came in the same season and he struck fifties on both first-class and List-A debut. In pursuit of better opportunities, however, Fraser-McGurk made the move to South Australia in the 2023/24 season.
Fraser-McGurk made his T20 debut playing for the Melbourne Renegades in the 2020/21 edition of the BBL.
