Profile Summary
Akeem Jordan and Jofra Archer once played together for the same club in Barbados, before Archer moved over to England and became a World Cup winner in 2019. Jordan’s career trajectory though hasn’t hit the heights of his once club teammate, as he had to struggle with the rigamarole of the domestic circuit. Jordan got his International debut in 2023 in an ODI against UAE, and has so far played 2 ODIs for West Indies. He got a call up in Tests for away tours to South Africa and Australia in 2023, but is yet to get a call. He has been picked now for the home Tests against South Africa in August, 2024.
