Profile Summary
Born in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, Dwaraka Ravi Teja plays first-class cricket for Hyderabad. He made his debut against Maharashtra in 2006 and impressed everyone with a fine 84 in the first innings. He had an impressive season in 2007-08 which earned him an IPL contract with the Deccan Chargers. However, he did not get many opportunities and same was the case when he was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad.
He was very impressive in the 2013-14 Ranji season as well and was Hyderabad's second best run-scorer. He has an impressive average in limited-overs cricket too and is now an integral part of the Hyderabad side in the domestic circuit.
