Profile Summary
The T20 landscape is just the style that suits Mohammad Haris. He is an ultra aggressive batter that Pakistan have added to their armoury after the debacle at 2024 T20 World Cup. Experts called Pakistan's batting style as stale and outdated. Thus, they blooded in exciting youngsters and one of them was Mohammad Haris. The keeper-batter played for Pakistan Under-19 in the 2020 World Cup. Then made his domestic debut for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In 2022, Peshawar Zalmi signed him up for PSL and he left a mark immediately with a Player of the Match performance in his maiden game. He was handed ODI and T20I debuts in 2022 as well. But the chances he got were sparse till the 2024 T20 WC. Besides, Mohammad Rizwan was handed the ODI captaincy as well after a disastrous ODI World Cup in 2023.
