Saurabh Dubey

Saurabh Dubey is a left-arm fast bowler from Vidarbha who has worked his way through the domestic circuit as a seam option known for his ability to hit consistent lengths and extract movement with the new ball. A relatively late bloomer, Dubey gained recognition through steady performances in domestic competitions, which eventually earned him opportunities at the IPL level as a squad player.

He was previously associated with Sunrisers Hyderabad but did not feature in a match, and remains uncapped in the IPL. For the 2026 season, he was signed by Kolkata Knight Riders as a replacement for Akash Deep, who was ruled out due to injury. This marks Dubey’s first inclusion in the KKR setup and presents him with another opportunity to break into the playing XI.

While he does not yet have IPL statistics to his name, Dubey’s left-arm angle adds variety to the pace attack, and he will be looking to make an impact if given a chance. Still at an early stage in his top-level T20 career, he remains a developing prospect aiming to establish himself in the league.
