Profile Summary
An all-rounder from Punjab, Kanika Ahuja first made her presence felt when she finished as the joint leading-wicket taker in the 2021-22 Women’s Senior One Day Trophy. She was signed by the Royal Challengers Bangalore for the 2023 edition of the WPL and played 7 matches that season. A brisk 48 off 30 against the UP Warriorz helped her side to their first win of the season and also earned her the Player of the Match. She was first called up to the international side in 2023 for the Asian Games. Her debut came in the quarter-finals against Malaysia and while the team went on to win the Gold medal, Ahuja didn’t really get many opportunities. She missed the 2024 edition of the WPL due to injury but returned in 2025 to play all eight games for RCB that year.
