Profile Summary
Tareq Aziz, a medium pacer for Bangladesh got off to a sensational start in cricket when he was just 18. He plays for the Chittagong Division and created quite an uproar when he picked up the wicket of Andy Flower in his first game and proceeded to take back-to-back five-fers after that.
As expected, Aziz soon made his ODI debut in early 2002 against Pakistan. He put on yet another noteworthy performance by registering figures of 3/19. However, a string of poor performances soon forced him out of the team. He returned back in 2004 and even made his Test debut in May against West Indies. He ODIs, he took another 3-wicket haul against Zimbabwe, a performance that helped Bangladesh achieve their first ODI win in 5 years.
However, things started going downhill for him and felt out of favour. He has not played an international game since 2004 but continues to play domestic cricket.
