Profile Summary
Born on October 26, 1978, Faisal Hossain is a gifted left handed batsman. Contrary to others, Faisal was already 25 when he received his first cap on the tour of West Indies in 2004. He failed in his only test and has been on the sidelines ever since then.
Faisal has played a handful of ODI's but has failed to make most of his opportunities. It is a surprise considering the fact that he has been one of the heavy scorers in the domestic league. Faisal is a gifted timer of the cricket ball and relies more on his reflexes rather than technique. At 35 though, time may have just run out for him to don Bangladesh colours again.
