Profile Summary
Khurram Chohan is an Canadian cricketer of Pakistani descent, who has represented Pakistan at the Under-19 level before immigrating to Canada. He soon caught attention of the selectors and played his first limited-overs game against Jamaica at Georgetown in November 2008. He was then a part of the 2009 World Cup Qualifiers for Canada and performed brilliantly for them, picking up 15 wickets in the tournament. Soon after, he received his central contract.
Chohan was a consistent bowler for Canada for the next 3 years. After a gap of couple of years, he came back in the team for the World Cup Qualifiers in 2014. He could not have asked for a better comeback as he picked up his first 5-wicket haul in ODIs against Scotland. Unfortunately, Scotland had already put up a huge total and won the match comfortably owing to a batting collapse from Canada.
