Profile Summary
A leg spinner who can even bat, Dushan Hemantha made his ODI debut against Afghanistan in June 2023. He didn't have a great debut as the leggie was unable to pick wickets, however, he did chip in with a quick cameo in the same game. Against West Indies in the next game Hemantha picked a couple of wickets, but proved to be slightly expensive. Being a new comer at the international level, Sri Lanka would want him to contribute in a similar way to that of Wanindu Hasaranga.
