Profile Summary
Reetinder Sodhi, an all-rounder from Punjab, was the option for Indian selectors when they were looking for a quality players, who can bowl and bat. He made his ODI debut against Zimbabwe in 2000 and was given a good run until the fag end of 2001.
He also travelled with the side to Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka and South Africa but was not preferred for national duty again after 2002. However, he continued to play in the domestic circuit before quitting in 2007.
He was then bought by Kings XI Punjab in the IPL and he played a few matches for them in 2010. The fact that he chose to play for Ahmedabad Rockets in the ICL also did not help his career progression as the league was not approved by both BCCI and ICC.
