Profile Summary
Sheikh Tushar Imran is a talented batsman, who emerged as a rising star in the early 2000s. He made his ODI debut against Zimbabwe in 2001. In his third ODI, he scored a fantastic 65 against Pakistan. Unfortunately, this gutsy innings was enough as Bangladesh were defeated by a huge margin of 72 runs.
He soon earned his Test cap in 2002 in a game against Sri Lanka. Unfortunately, his performances in both the formats of the game suffered a decline. He could not reach double-figures most of the times despite being in the team until 2007. He was not picked in the team thereafter. However, in all these years, he has continued to play domestic cricket for Khulna.
