Raghvi Bist

Raghvi Bist had a hunger for scoring big runs, that much was certain after she became only the third player after Smriti Mandhana and Jemimah Rodrigues to score a double-century in the Women’s U-19 one-day tournament. Cast into the limelight after 219 against Nagaland Women U19, the then teenager worked her way up the ranks before making her international debut in a T20I series against the West Indies in late 2024.

Hailing from Uttarakhand, Bist’s first introduction to the sport was, like for millions of others in the country, through gully cricket. It was only in 2016 that she began formal training. Representing Uttarakhand at the U19 level first and then at the senior level, Bist’s talents were spotted quickly. She was called up to the India A squad for the tour of Australia in 2014 and she was also named as a reserve for the 2024 Women’s T20 World Cup.

Bist was signed by the Royal Challengers Bangalore for the 2025 edition of the WPL.
