Profile Summary
Originally from Maharashtra, Poonam Khenmar actually plays her domestic cricket for Nagaland. She is infact one of the few players to score a century for Nagaland in the Women’s One Day Trophy. Khenmar scored a match winning 105 against Manipur in a game against Kolkata. Primarily a batter, Khenmar can also contribute with the ball with her leg breaks.
Khenmar was picked by Royal Challengers Bangalore for the inaugural WPL season, and switched over to UP Warriorz for the 2024 season. She was retained by the franchise for 2025 as well.
