Profile Summary
A pacer, who is always game for bowling lengthy spells, Michael Mason only made sporadic appearances for New Zealand between 2003 and 2010. The fact that he was injury prone coupled with bouts of inconsistency checked his progress. His finest hour ensued when he picked up 4-24 against Sri Lanka in Christchurch in a winning cause.
Mason was a part of New Zealand's World Cup squad in 2007 but was jettisoned soon after. He earned a recall in the 2010 season but came up short again.
