Profile Summary
Born January 21, 1981, Nairobi, Kenya, Jamie Dalrymple is an orthodox off-spinner, who can also double
up as a resourceful batsman. He represented England in Under-19 cricket before captaining British Universities. In 1999 he joined Middlesex and established himself as a good all-round player.
Later on in 2006, Dalrymple was given his ODI debut against Ireland in June 2006. He also made his T20I debut the same year. However, Dalrymple was not able to adapt to the rigours and demands of international cricket. He played in three World Cup matches in 2007 but came up short.
In 2007, the tweaker left Middlesex and signed a three-year deal with Glamorgan.
