Profile Summary

A left-handed batsman, Hugh Morris, was one of the finest batsmen from the stables of Glamorgan. He played 314 first-class matches, amassing close to 20000 runs at an average of 40.29. After captaining Young England, Morris went on to earn the distinction of Glamorgan's youngest ever captain. He was also a consistent performer for England-A.

However, Morris made just three appearances in Tests with very modest success to show for. After his playing career, he took up the role of Technical Coaching Director with the ECB. Later on, he served as the Deputy Chief Executive of ECB.
