Profile Summary
Abu Nechim made his first-class debut with Assam at the age of 17. He was known for his pace and accuracy and he did fairly well at the start. However, as he chose to play in the Indian Cricket League (ICL), he as banned from competitive cricket for a while as the BCCI did not give approval to the tournament.
He returned to domestic cricket after serving the ban and continued to play for Assam. He played for IPL side Mumbai Indians from 2010 to 2013, before moving to Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2014.
