Profile Summary

Jason Mohammed came into the international reckoning on the back of some eye-catching performances in the Caribbean T20 tournament. He then carved himself a permanent slot in the T&T List-A and First Class team. A powerful striker of the ball, who can chip in with some offies, Jason Mohammed was called up for West Indies' tour to India in 2011 at the expense of Devendra Bishoo. He also won the Richie Richardson Trophy the same year after topping the run-charts in the Regional Super 50 competition.

However his ODI debut versus India in Chennai was a bitter pill to swallow. Jason could manage just 2 off 21 balls and found himself out of favour for the next four years. His second ODI was against Sri Lanka at Colombo in 2015 and didn't feature in the side for the next 1.5 years again. Third time lucky, Jason has been a regular in the side since making a comeback against England at North Sound in March 2017. He made his T20I debut against Pakistan at Port of Spain in April in the same year.
