Profile Summary
Damodar Daesrath is a Canadian cricketer from Guyana who has played for Guyana and Guyana Board President's XI before debuting for Canada. He was also the captain of the Guyana team and also played club cricket for Canada simultaneously.
Daesrath made his ODI debut for Canada in July 2012 against Scotland. He has played only 4 ODIs and made a total of 95 runs with the bat and picked up 2 wickets. He made his T20I debut in November 2013 against Ireland but did not get a chance to showcase his skills in that game. However, Daesrath continues to play first-class cricket for Canada. In August 2013, he hit his maiden first-class ton against UAE in the Intercontinental Cup 2011-2013/14 taking Canada to a big total.
