Profile Summary
A tall sturdy fast bowler from Guyana, Ronsford Beaton has been a consistent member of the Guyanese side in first-class cricket having made his debut in the year 2010-11. Till 2016, he has represented them in 33 first-class games and picked up 64 wickets at a middling average of 33.01. The last two seasons, though, have been fruitful as he has picked 36 of those wickets at a much better average.
Ronsford has also represented West Indies Under-19 team in 2012, where he picked up 8 wickets in five outings. That young team in their first encounter defeated would be-champions India Under-19, with Ronsford accounting for 3 wickets.
Having played for the Guyana Amazon Warriors in edition 2014 and 2015 of the CPL, he was picked up by Trinbago Knight Riders in CPL 2016.
Ronsford earned a call-up to the West Indies 13-member side for the three-match Twenty20 International series against Afghanistan.
