Profile Summary
A seam bowling all rounder from Barbados, Justin Greaves has been described as a ‘nice, utility player’ by Ian Bishop. He was part of the U19 West Indies squad in 2012, and was amongst the top performers for his team in that tournament. Greaves however had to wait a long time before making the senior step up, getting an ODI debut against Ireland only in 2022. He played 5 ODIs in 2022, before being left out in the wilderness once again. Greaves got his maiden Test call up in 2023 for the away series against Australia, and was part of the team that defeated Australia in Australia for the first time in 30 years. Greaves has now been picked for the home Tests against South Africa.
